Founded in 2020 in Cyprus, ECECT is a non-profit organization bridging the gap between academia and industry through impactful EU-funded projects. Our mission is to foster emerging skills in STEM, robotics, digital transformation, and environmental sustainability by developing practical training, hosting tech challenges, and supporting entrepreneurship. We work across students,  VET, and adult learning to make innovation accessible, inclusive, and socially responsible. 

The European Centre for Emerging Competencies and Technologies (ECECT) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to connecting academia and industry across Europe. Our mission is to advance STEAM education, digital skills, robotics, and sustainability to benefit society, business, and education. 

We believe emerging technologies have the power to transform employment, industry, and quality of life. That’s why we focus on setting high professional standards and fostering collaboration between universities, companies, policymakers, and communities. By acting as a bridge, we help tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities of the digital age.
