RoboXR Pilot Testing Successfully in Cyprus
The RoboXR project, has reached an important milestone with the successful completion of its pilot testing sessions in Cyprus.
During these sessions, students and educators had the opportunity to explore the RoboXR application, while actively contributing to the validation of the XR training application and its educational scenarios.
Participants engaged with immersive environments that simulate real industrial settings, allowing them to interact with robotic systems, understand operational workflows, and experiment with machine tending processes. This hands-on experience supports the development of practical, industry-relevant skills in a safe and controlled virtual space.
Beyond the learning experience, the pilot sessions played a key role in evaluating the usability, realism, and educational effectiveness of the platform. The feedback collected will directly support the optimization and further development of the RoboXR and MASTERXR solutions.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the University of Cyprus and the University of Nicosia for hosting the pilot activities and for their strong interest and support of the RoboXR project.
The strong engagement from both students and academic staff highlights the growing demand for innovative, immersive learning solutions in robotics, automation, and Industry 4.0.
These activities mark a significant step forward in validating RoboXR as a tool for bridging the gap between education and real-world industrial applications, in line with the objectives of the MASTER XR initiative.
