About the Project

VR4Bees is a European project that uses immersive virtual reality to teach students and learners about bees, pollination, and their role in ecosystems. Through 360° educational videos, users can explore beehives and real-world environments in an interactive and engaging way.

The project combines education and technology to raise awareness about the importance of bees, while providing accessible learning experiences that support environmental understanding and sustainable practices.

Objectives

VR4Bees aims to raise awareness and improve understanding of bees and their role in ecosystems by:

  • Teaching the importance of bees in pollination and ecosystem balance
  • Exploring the impact of climate change on bee populations
  • Raising awareness about the causes and consequences of bee decline
  • Highlighting the dangers of pesticides to bees
  • Providing immersive VR-based educational experiences
