Project Completion Announcement! After 2 incredible years, our project has come to a successful conclusion! Final ECT Forum Event in Cyprus – In the framework of BETES Project

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία διοργανώθηκε το ECT Forum στις 27 Αυγούστου, στο CYENS Centre of Excellence στη Λευκωσία που διοργάνωσε ο μη Κερδοσκοπικός Οργανισμός ECECT.euΣτην εκδήλωση συμμετείχαν άτομα από το χώρο της έρευνας και καινοτομίας τόσο από Ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα αλλά και τη βιομηχανία.Η εκδήλωση περιλάμβανε παρουσιάσεις για έργο BETES (Bootcamps for Emerging Technologies and Essential Skills) – betesproject.eu που συγχρηματοδοτήθηκε από το ERASMUS+ της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.Επίσης, περιλάμβανε θέματα όπως την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη (Artificial Intelligence), Επαυξημένη και Εικονική Πραγματικότητα (AR/VR), Ρομποτική, Μικροηλεκτρονική, ΤΝ ηθική και πρακτικές εφαρμογές της από διάφορες εταιρείες.Σημαντικό ήταν και το πάνελ συζήτησης που αφορούσε την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, ευκαιρίες, προκλήσεις καθώς και θέματα ηθικής.  As the BETES project is coming to an end, ECECT.eu the project coordinator organized the final multiplier event – ECT Forum in Cyprus. We discussed the activities and outcomes of the BETES Project and delved into a diverse range of intriguing topics. From soft skills to digital transformation and emerging technologies. We had a fantastic time at the 7th National Robotex Cyprus Competition and the 1st Minoan Sports Robotics Competition!ECECT.eu team was proud to volunteer and host a booth, making this event unforgettable for many young robotics enthusiasts. Την Παρασκευή 1η Δεκεμβρίου η ECECT.eu συμμετείχε στο CYPRUS STEAME FESTIVALστο Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου | University Of Cyprus. Παιδιά γυμνασίου και λυκείου είχαν την ευκαιρία να δουν πως λειτουργεί το DexArm, να κάνουν την ζωγραφιά που ήθελαν μαζί με το όνομα τους. Επίσης, μπόρεσαν να δοκιμάσουν τα Virtual Reality glasses παίζοντας διαδραστικά παιχνίδια , να παίξουν με το M5stack και να μάθουν λειτουργίες του Microbit. Οργανωτές είναι η Κυπριακή Μαθηματική Εταιρεία και το Ίδρυμα THALES Κύπρου μέσα στα πλαίσια του έργου STEAME-ACADEMY, σε συνεργασία με το Τμήμα Μαθηματικών και Στατιστικής του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, του ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης, την Τράπεζα Κύπρου, το Παιδαγωγικού Ινστιτούτου Κύπρου και τον Συνδέσμο Μαθηματικών Κύπρου (ΟΕΛΜΕΚ). #CyprusSteameFestival2023

Our member, Fotini Georgiou had the honor of taking part in the Robotex International robootikafestival 2023, a two-day event hosted in Tallinn, Estonia, along with other members of Robotex Cyprus committee, thanks to Robotex Cyprus, Cyprus Computer Society and IET Cyprus Local Network.
