About the Project
DIGIFABS is an EU-funded project supporting digital transformation in the food and beverage (F&B) sector by helping SMEs, students, and educators develop the skills needed to adapt to emerging technologies. The project addresses key challenges faced by SMEs, including skill gaps, limited resources, and difficulties in adopting digital solutions.
Through the development of innovative training programmes and collaborative activities, DIGIFABS promotes digital and green skills, strengthens the link between academia and industry, and supports a more resilient and sustainable F&B sector across Europe.
Objectives
The DIGIFABS project aims to support the digital transformation of the food and beverage sector by developing the skills and knowledge needed to respond to emerging technologies and industry challenges.
Its key objectives are:
- To enhance digital and green skills among students, educators, and SMEs
- To support SMEs in adopting digital tools and technologies
- To develop innovative training programmes and learning methodologies
- To bridge the gap between academia and industry through collaboration
- To promote innovation, resilience, and sustainability in the F&B sector
