BETES is an Erasmus+ funded initiative that aims to bridge the gap in digital and soft skills required by today’s labor market. Led by a transnational consortium—ECECT (Cyprus), SkillsZone (Malta), and Digital Idea (Greece)—the project focuses on educating unemployed individuals, unskilled employees, and those seeking to upskill in emerging technologies and competencies.
The project begins with in-depth research to assess current industry demands, culminating in a report that provides valuable insights to stakeholders. Based on this research, a free educational program covering five key topics will be developed and delivered through hybrid workshops and training sessions across Cyprus, Greece, and Malta. The materials will also be freely accessible on class365.eu, ensuring global reach.
Emerging competencies and technologies include IoT, AI, robotics, IT skills, data analytics, and 3D printing, all of which are shaping the future job market. Meanwhile, soft skills like communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving are equally crucial in today’s workforce.
Through BETES, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the evolving job landscape, empowering them to pursue further opportunities in the tech industry.
